We are constantly bombarded with distractions, temptations, and a multitude of paths to choose from. Yet, it is through a personal relationship with God that we can find true purpose, peace, and the way to the everlasting glory of God’s Kingdom by having God in your life.
Embracing Divine Guidance
In this modern era, the pathways of life may seem plentiful, but not all roads lead to righteousness. Amid the chaos and confusion, we must remember that God has not abandoned us; He desires to guide us through every aspect of our lives. By establishing a relationship with God, we invite His wisdom, discernment, and guidance into our lives. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
Dear Jesus, in the darkness of this world influenced by sin I am thankful that you are my guiding light! When I feel lost or burdened, shine your light in my life through your powerful Gospel. Use me as your light-bearer to help shine that light into my world and lives of those around me.
By establishing a profound and intimate relationship with the Almighty, we open ourselves up to experiencing His divine wisdom, invaluable discernment, and unwavering guidance in every aspect of our lives. Just like a sailor expertly navigates treacherous waters with the help of a reliable compass, when we invite God into our lives, we receive a compass that will lead us through the chaotic storms of existence. God’s wisdom becomes a beacon of light, illuminating the darkest corners of our minds and showing us the path towards righteousness. It is through this relationship that we gain the ability to make sound decisions, avoiding the pitfalls and traps that life often presents.
God’s discernment becomes our shield, protecting us from deception and falsehoods that may disguise themselves as alluring temptations. With His guidance, we are able to see through the veil of deceit and make choices that align with His will.

God of all Truth, I spend so much time thinking, planning, and worrying about my life. Your word says that, although people plan their course in their hearts, it is you who establishes our steps. Help me to make you the center of my planning. I can do nothing without you giving me the strength to do it. I can plan nothing without you giving me the mind to plan it.
